Steamboat Springs, CO

Strawberry Park Hot Springs

Rustic natural hot springs set along Hot Springs Creek in Routt National Forest, about 7 miles outside Steamboat Springs. Stone-masonry pools fed by mineral water sit creekside in a largely off-grid, wilderness setting with minimal lighting at night. It also offers overnight cabins, a covered wagon, and a train caboose for extended stays.

Ouray Hot Springs Pool & Fitness Center

A city-owned, sulfur-free geothermal pool complex in Ouray, originally opened in 1927 and fully rebuilt in 2016–2017. It offers several pools at different temperatures, including an adults-only overlook pool at 102–106°F, plus summer water slides and a fitness center. It has no on-site lodging, but many hotels are within walking distance.
